Created in 2004, network of electronic Nurl@n cinemas is a full-scaled system which includes film showings in cinemas and transmission system.
Transmission of films is made with the help of DVD-players which are designed for the wide range of users from all parts of the country. Cinemas which are located in large regional centers, small electronic cinemas in countryside or in urban district centers, camps of oil industry workers and of geologists, pioneer camps, hospitals, military units, frontier post and also mobile cinemas are considered to be users of the transmission. Project foresees a creation of the satellite system on the basis of a popular digital technology DVB (Digital Video Broadcasting). Satellite network, consisting of one central satellite station and great number of distance cinemas which are located on the whole territory of country and receiving signal is being founded. This gives an opportunity for a transmission from one point (of city) to the most distant regions of the country.
